Behind the Curtain - Lip Service (Theatre33)

In our latest episode of our series "Behind the Curtain", we chat with Theatre33 co-founder Marianna Chebotaryova and actor Era Pogosova. Era starred in and Marianna directed Theatre33's recent production Lip Service, a play that chronicles the life and relationships of Helena Rubinstein. We discussed how Marianna discovered the show and what it took to bring it to the stage and Era's excellent portrayal of the cosmetics magnate. Additionally, we chatted about their upcoming "revival" of Lip Service, it having completed its run at their site in Bellevue, they'll be performing it at Theatre Puget Sound's Center Theater Black Box at Seattle Center on June 8 and 9. If you didn't get to see it in Bellevue, here's your opportunity.
