Behind the Curtain - The Pillowman (Interview with Jack Conley)

The Pillowman, an independent production from local theatre artists Jack Conley and Koda Saunders, opens this Friday, February 21 at Theatre Puget Sound's Theatre4, in the Seattle Center Armory, and runs through March 2. The Pillowman is a dark story that deals in some pretty topical themes, from totalitarianism, to storytelling and censorship, as well as trauma and abuse told through a darkly comedic lens.

Jack took some time to chat with us about his production in advance of its opening, as well as his other work with Rainy Day Artistic Collective, one of the few organizations that has continued to produce virtual theatre (as well as a growing collection of live programs) beyond the Covid pandemic.
