ReAct Theatre (David Hsieh)

ReAct Theatre is currently celebrating its 30th Anniversary, and is celebrating with a brand new space on 1st Avenue in Seattle. David Hsieh is the group's founder and Artistic Director, and he took some time out of his day to sit and help us "Get to Know a Theatre" and talk to us about ReAct's history, that fantastic new space in Seattle at 562 1st Ave. S (4th Floor), their ongoing partnership with Pratidhwani and the upcoming shows that are part of that relationship, Animals Out of Paper (opening April 19) and Letters of Suresh (opening April 24), both at 12th Avenue Arts in Seattle. We also chatted about ReAct's philosophy around programming and elevating the arts through diverse casting and the shows it chooses to put up.
