On the Road - Oregon Shakespeare Festival - Writer/Composer/Actor Justin Huertas (Lizard Boy(

In our final interview from Ashland, we sit down with playwright and composer Justin Huertas. Justin's original work, Lizard Boy, opens at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival on June 11 and runs through October 12 at the festival's Thomas Theatre. Justin took time out of his busy rehearsal schedule to talk about the show's beginnings, its trek around the country (including his multiple Drama Desk Award nominations!!), and his continuing work to develop the show prior to its opening. Justin wrote the book, composed the music, and stars in this production alongside longtime collaborator Kiki deLohr and William A. Williams. It's a fun and unique musical superhero story that is sure to take OSF by storm.
