Bainbridge Performing Arts (Elizabeth Allum, Deirdre Hadlock, Matt Longmire)

In this episode of our series Get to Know a Theatre, we're back on the Kitsap Peninsula, and featuring Bainbridge Performing Arts. We sat down with Elizabeth Allum, BPA's Executive Director, Deirdre Hadlock, their Production Manager, and Communications and Development Coordinator Matt Longmire. We discussed the amazing transformation of the Buxton Center and its $17M renovation, and how the theatre has become a state of the art destination for live performance art in the region, how they have seen an influx of talent from Seattle and points beyond as a result of their programming philosophy and reputation for creating a safe and creative space for producing art. Finally, we chatted about that programming philosophy, their current show on stage, Sarah Ruhl's Eurydice, and what to expect the rest of this season and next.
