Village Theatre (Adam Immerwahr)

Village Theatre is about to wrap it's 23-24 season with Once Upon an Island, running May 14 through June 16 in Issaquah, before heading to Everett for a run June 22 through July 14. In this episode of Get to Know a Theatre, we sit down virtually with Adam Immerwahr, Artistic Director of Village, who provides us with a reflection on this past season and a look forward to their exciting 24-25 season. With four total theaters, Adam discusses the challenges and opportunities that multiple venues provides, how he programs for a season with that in mind, as well as his coordinations with other professional houses in the area to make sure that actors have the best opportunities for auditioning for the shows they want to participate in. We also discuss Village's educational programs and how Adam has taken a leadership role in fostering the arts for the next generation.
